Andrew weighed over 300lbs in his last year of college. Wanting to look great on the beach for a spring break trip (thinking he could get a six-pack in three months) he embarked on a weight loss journey in January of 2009. Through countless ups and downs, highs and lows in motivation, restrictive eating combined with binging, fad workouts and dieting, and too much money wasted on supplements, he decided to figure out why he would lose some weight but then put it back on (and usually more!) just as quickly. Digging into the why was exciting and his desire to learn more about the human body, exercise, and nutrition grew. This lead him to pursue a masters in exercise science. He has trained hundreds of clients with all different levels and goals. Clients with backgrounds including a 70-year-old man with nerve issues who wanted to just move, look, and feel better, a 65-year-old woman with two knee replacements and one hip replacement wanting to feel stronger and keep up with her younger partner of 20+years, a 25 year-old woman wanting to lose 100 pounds, athletes wanting to build strength, and physique athletes competing in bodybuilding shows. His focus is on finding what strategy works best for each client, and on using their experience(s) combined with scientific evidence and personal experiences to help clients achieve their goals all done in a sustainable way. Slow and steady wins the race for this trainer, and he has proved it himself. This strategy helped him reach his goal of losing 100+ pounds, competing in physique competitions himself, and most importantly keeping the weight off.
